MEET REIKO (pronounced Ray-Ko)

Aloha and WELCOME!

I live by the mantra: DREAM BIG, WORK HARD and TREAT OTHERS with RESPECT.

I am a FULL time realtor fluent in both Japanese and English. Leveraging my experience in hotel industry and being a full time resident on Maui since 2001 , I am known for my real estate market knowledge, outstanding client service, 24/7 availability, personal touches and excellent negotiation skills with my client's best interest at heart. I believe strongly that it is not only my duty to represent my clients to the best of my ability but also to educate them throughout every step of the process with top notch information and market insight so that my clients can make the best decisions possible.

In 2022  I was elected into the International President Circle for my top sales performance which only the top 5% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide receive.  Also in 2022 I was recognized as Top 100 agents out of 18,000 agents on Maui, ranking as the top 4%.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and have lived in Guam, Bali and France. Like many others, I got addicted to Maui on my first visit. Being the only daughter and a professional, it was difficult to leave home. Yet I heard Maui calling and I took the leap from Japan in 2001 to "try the island out". I am now blessed with two beautiful boys and am proud to call Maui my second home.

In Maui I was also introduced to yoga. I am a passionate yogini since 2001.
My favorite pass times are doing yoga, dancing, singing in my car while driving to my favorite music with my windows down (sometimes I scare others on the road), trying vegan recipes and reading everything related to decorating homes.

上智大学卒業後、大手出版社に勤務。
1998年、ハネムーンを期にマウイに足を運ぶようになる。マウイに魅了され、年に3、４回足を運ぶようになる。

2001年、マウイに移住。
高級リゾートのコンシェルジュとして勤務。カスタマーサービスの経験を積む。
また、不動産業界のトッププロデューサーの依頼を受け、通訳・翻訳に携わる。
自らの不動産売買の経験後、不動産業界に興味を持つようになる。

2012年、不動産ライセンスを取得。世界的に有名でマウイ島の不動産取引第一を誇る、Coldwell Banker Island Properties に採用され、フルタイムの不動産販売スペシャリストとなる。

現在Coldwell Bankerのトッププロデューサーとして活躍中。 2022年、全世界のColdwell Bankerのエージェントのトップ5％、マウイにおいてはトップ4％、マウイで日本語を使えるエージェントとしてはトップ3に選ばれる。

Because of Reiko, we are very satisfied with our recent sales of our condo and are grateful to her. Kaanapali Alii is a great resort but we were a little worried if the condo would sell quickly due to the age of the complex. However, within a few days of listing the property, she was able to coordinate multiple showings and negotiate the purchase price which was much higher than what we had anticipated; our condo was under contract within a few days after listing the property. After opening escrow, she was able to explain the paperwork involved in a clear and friendly fashion so we were able to close with confidence. We have also later learned that our condo closed much higher than what it has been appraised for.

I would like to recommend Reiko who is fluent in both Japanese and English to anyone thinking about selling or buying on Maui.

We are very thankful to Reiko for selling our corporate property on Maui.
From listing to selling the property it was a very short time but we are very thankful to her effective way of handling matters and offering us useful, friendly advice. Listing the property at just the right price and having professional photography and videos to market the property led to multiple offers and moreover, closing over asking price as well as with some better conditions for us sellers.

When we opened escrow she kept us posted on the details through emails and phone calls and kept the escrow flowing smoothly.Especially when it came to the closing documents, she confirmed details with the escrow officer and also advised us with how to get the deed notarized in Japan. Even after closing, Reiko kept in touch and helped us with cancelling our insurance policy. Being able to close in such a short period, we are very grateful to Reiko.
